We hope this will act as useful prompt should customers need to notify us of any particular requirements or restrictions that may apply. Information can be provided/discussed pre-order or at order confirmation stage with a view to minimising potential delay/complications:-
Safe
Please check the proposed Chubb safe will fit through doorways, corridors/hallways etc on route.
If delivery is via a Lift check the lift is suitable for the safe weight /size.
Site conditions
Any parking or vehicle restrictions ?
Stair-work - are there more than 2 threshold steps? If yes please confirm the number of steps and where (i.e. steps into the building and/or internally).
We require photos when delivering Chubb safes measuring, 2 foot plus and in excess of 250 kg. Photo of each flight, either from the top looking down or from the bottom looking up. If any of the flights have turns or landings to negotiate additional images of these would also be required (maximum image upload 3 Mb). Fire
Entry
Products offer a level of fire protection in excess of a conventional build safe. Fire protection measures can include fire resistant barrier material in the body and door, a fire / heat resistant door seal.
Medium
Independently tested and certified for fire protection. Products as a minimum benefit from fire resistant barrier material in both body and door. All models offer 30 minutes fire resistance for paper documents. Certain models also protect media for 30 minutes.
High
Safes offering a very good level of fire protection. All safes independently tested and rated to a minimum 60 minutes fire resistance for documents and/or media protection.
Maximum
Providing highest level of fire protection available certified to the most stringent testing standards - 120 minutes resistance for documents and/or media protection. Maximum fire resistance protection for all paperwork such as birth/marriage certificates, legal papers etc. Media tested models in addition protect passports, family photos, CD's/DVD's etc.
